Sometimes, however, their leaves can become discoloured, take on a different texture or look rather dull. <!--more-->Or the new flowers they produce can remain green. What&#8217;s the best solution? Here are some tips to keep your pot Anthurium in the best condition.<\/p>\n<h3>An Anthurium with green flowers<\/h3>\n<p>If the leaves develop a yellowish tinge, the Anthurium is probably receiving too much sunlight, so the best thing to do is to move it a metre farther away from the window. If the Anthurium produces new flowers that remain green, this means that it&#8217;s not getting enough light. In this case, you should move it somewhat closer to the window. Spent flowers and old yellowed leaves can safely be trimmed away since the Anthurium will simply produce more flowers!<\/p>\n<h3>An Anthurium with brown leaf margins or leaf tips<\/h3>\n<p>Brown leaf margins or leaf tips mean that the Anthurium is receiving either too much or too little water. Before watering, it would be best to feel the potting compost.
