For years, the Anthurium has been a beloved guest in fashion shows and magazines. No wonder, because with its glossy green leaves, brightly coloured spathes and striking spadix, it makes a statement. However, the Anthurium has never been as prominent in fashion as it is now. It has even inspired an entire fashion collection! It’s clear: the Anthurium is the fashion flower of 2023.<\/p>\n

How the Anthurium flower became the fashion flower of 2023<\/h2>\n

The anthurium has long been a favourite among fashion insiders, but it went viral after the unveiling of Loewe’s Spring\/Summer 2023 collection last September. Jonathan Anderson used the silhouette of the Anthurium flower as inspiration for his collection, and the flower-adorned nearly every garment on the runway. Models wore different sizes and shapes of the flower: Anthurium flowers as tops, shrugs and sandals. The Anthurium also made its presence felt in the decor\u2014 Loewe\u2019s show space in Paris was completely white, with a gigantic Anthurium flower blossoming out of a hole in the ground.<\/p>\n
