It\u2019s a day dedicated to the fight for equality and opportunities for women. Various organisations organise events to draw attention to issues such as equal pay, economic independence, and sexual violence. Naturally, this day is also the perfect occasion to show the special women in your life how much you respect and appreciate them.\u00a0Because mothers, sisters, wives, and friends\u2014what would we do without them?<\/p>\n<h3>The Anthurium: a strong flower for strong women<\/h3>\n<p>Anthuriums are resilient flowers with an exceptionally long lifespan. They stay fresh in a vase for at least two weeks\u2014and with a bit of luck, they\u2019ll remain stunning for up to five weeks. In contrast, the average cut flower lasts only seven days before wilting and being discarded. Such a waste!
