Caring for Anthurium plants in summer<\/h2>\n

Avoid direct sunlight<\/h3>\n

Although Anthuriums love light, their leaves can burn if exposed to direct sunlight. Always place your plants in a spot with indirect light. In summer, a location a few metres from a window with curtains is ideal. Avoid south-facing windows, as the sunlight there is the strongest.<\/p>\n

Water regularly<\/h3>\n

On hot summer days, watering regularly is crucial. Check the top centimetre of the potting soil once or twice a week. If it feels dry, it\u2019s time to water your plant. You can also add a little Anthurium feed once a week to ensure the plant receives the nutrients it needs to produce beautifully coloured flowers. Additionally, make sure any excess water can drain away properly, as too much water can cause root rot. You may also want to mist the leaves lightly with water to keep the plant hydrated.<\/p>\n

Place Anthuriums outdoors<\/h3>\n

Anthuriums are tropical plants that thrive in warm conditions. If the temperature outside is around 20\u00b0C, they can also be placed outdoors. However, make sure the plant is in a wind-free spot and not exposed to direct sunlight. The ideal location for an Anthurium in your garden or on your patio is a shaded area.<\/p>\n

Note: if nighttime temperatures drop below 16\u00b0C, it\u2019s best to bring your plants back indoors. Anthuriums are sensitive to cold and can be damaged by lower temperatures.<\/p>\n
