How to keep your plants happy while you\u2019re away<\/h2>\n

Leave your plants in top condition<\/h3>\n

The number one tip: make sure your plants are in great shape before you leave. If your Anthurium already has brown leaves or dead flowers, that won\u2019t magically fix itself while you’re away. So, give your plants a little TLC beforehand \u2014 remove dead blooms and leaves, trim any dry bits, and give them a good watering before you head off.<\/p>\n

Place them in the right spot<\/h3>\n

Next, place your plants in the best possible location in your home. Ideally, this is a spot with plenty of daylight, but not direct sunlight \u2014 because too much sun can scorch the leaves. A few metres away from the window with the curtains partially drawn is often perfect. Bathrooms can also be a great option, as long as they have natural light.<\/p>\n

If you have multiple plants, consider grouping them together. This helps create a more humid microclimate \u2014 something most houseplants love!<\/p>\n

With a little planning, you can keep your plants watered while you’re away \u2014 without relying on neighbours, friends, or family.
