Florists and stylist collective The Wunderkammer has been recognized for the last ten years by their Shop for a Weeks in Amsterdam and after the twentieth edition last May, they introduce new experience concept in November 2018 PRESERVED: Saving Beauty. A temporary oasis of nature right in the center of Amsterdam where workshops, dinners and musical surprises take place in a lush environment created by The Wunderkammer. From 9 until 19 November 2018 PRESERVED shows harvested and collected treasures from nature at Herengracht 178, Amsterdam.

The Wunderkammer

The floral artists and stylists Florian Seyd and Ueli Signer together form The Wunderkammer. The Wunderkammer is a symbolic name that stands for a special collection. It is all about the collecting treasures from nature and exotic objects. Through this passion, both Florian and Ueli succeed in creating the most extraordinary fairytale scenes on an international level. They want to show the best of nature in everything they do.

PRESERVED: Saving Beauty

PRESERVED shows harvested and collected treasures from nature in a canal house, let yourself wander through The Wunderkammer’s ‘Urban Farm’ on the canals and stirs you with a sumptuous scenes at the table, which invites you to join and dine. Celebrating and preserving nature. It is a temporary oasis of nature in the center of Amsterdam where workshops, dinners and musical surprises take place in a lush environment created by The Wunderkammer.

Workshop making Autumn bundle “Fall in Love” by master florists The Wunderkammer – Sunday 11th November

Learn how to make a free standing bundle from fruit tree branches. This will be standing on a glass dish. As soon as the bundle is standing arrange wonderful autumn flowers like anthuriums in this composition and a few dry seed heads. Create your own naturalistic arrangement with the splendour of the season. This arrangement can stay with you for all of winter and spring. While you add different fresh flowers, the season stays close to you.
