DIY: Valentine’s Day bouquet with Anthuriums

Necessities

  • A clean vase
  • Optional: flower food
  • Your loved one’s favourite flowers
  • Pruning shears
  • Ribbon

Instructions

Begin by removing the flowers from their packaging and sorting them by type. Trim the stems to your desired length, cutting them at an angle to ensure the flowers can absorb water properly and stay fresh longer. Take your prettiest vase and fill it with a generous amount of water, adding flower food if you like. Start assembling the bouquet by placing the most striking flowers into the vase first, followed by the smaller blooms, and finish with some greenery—but don’t use too much, as it can overshadow the flowers, which would be a shame.

For an extra special touch, tie a ribbon around the vase to make it feel like a true gift.
