Goodbye Christmas tree, hello Anthurium!
It’s hard to get used to not having a Christmas tree in your home anymore. That place where the tree and all its pretty decorations stood is now a big empty spot. But don’t worry: there are enough ways to fill it up with Anthuriums. Here are just a few.
Go for impact
Just one Anthurium plant can be a pretty big space-filler all on its own. But putting a number of plants in a large ceramic vase makes it easy to create a tall luxurious look. Just three plants, for example, will produce a big impact: that empty spot in the living room is filled in an instant.
Another option: plant hangers
If your favourite place for a plant is a little side table, that’s just fine. But if you want a change sometime, try hanging your plant up. We think this is a fabulous trend: plant hangers. They’re available in a wide range of colours and sizes so you can always find one that’s just right for your home. All it takes is a hook in the ceiling. Voilà – your plant turns into a real eye-catcher!
On the wall
But maybe you prefer cut flowers to plants. Why not? Flowers can just as easily fill up an empty wall. One idea would be to create your own flower wreath using your favorite Anthurium flowers. Attach some water tubes to a frame and then insert your flowers. Simply cut one centimeter off the stems every week and your Anthuriums will remain attractive for a good 2 – 3 weeks. That’s a long time to enjoy your flowers!
